Hi! I’m Jon Rice.

I’m a strategist, communicator, & consultant working for social good.

I reside in San Francisco and work globally. My work has spanned from developing policies to increase access to higher education to creating compelling communications for a global health vaccine advocacy campaign to leading a team of 900+ for a new national election night reporting initiative.

Today, I serve as a Director on the Research Advisory Services team at EAB, an education services firm providing best-in-class research, technology, and marketing & enrollment solutions to 2,800+ institutions worldwide. In my role, I provide expert strategic advice and counsel to C-suite leaders with the mission of making education smarter and our communities stronger.

I’m a lucky alumnus of top nonprofit and for-profit organizations including the University of San Francisco, United Nations Foundation, Ipsos Public Affairs, USA Today, and Pitzer College.

Throughout 2013-14, I served as a Fulbright Fellow to South Korea through the U.S. Department of State, where I spent the year teaching English and serving as a cultural ambassador.

Originally hailing from the Washington, DC area, I completed my undergraduate degree in political science at Pitzer College in Claremont, California and my graduate studies in strategic communications at the University of San Francisco.

Embracing my inner millennial, I like Chemex pour-over coffee, good California wine, global conversations, keeping up with current events, formula 1, and a char siu bao here and there.
